Attention all Clinical Research Professionals — want to be less overwhelmed by complex regulatory responsibilities? This June Xtalks eCademy is launching its inaugural online training division with a well sought after course for clinical research professionals that will help them more easily understand, and follow, regulatory obligations for research in Canada as it relates to Health Canada Division 5 and ICH-E6 Guidance.
Course trainer Kim McDonald-Taylor MSc, CRPC, of McDonald-Taylor Consulting and Toronto Chairperson of the Clinical Research Association of Canada (CRAC), stated she wants to help participants learn to differentiate between their regulated obligations from other suggested, but important, recommendations for action when doing research in Canada.
Frequently asked by clients if there is a less complex way to decipher which regulations and/or guidelines to follow, she stated: “We are told as Canadian clinical researchers we must follow Health Canada Division 5 regulations (C.05.001) as well as ICH-GCP guidelines (ICH Guidance E6: Good Clinical Practice). For the most part, we can look up specific guidelines and ensure we keep on track. However, there are distinct differences between the two that need to be clearly understood so that you know which to follow, and when, to be in compliance and audit-ready.”
This Xtalks eCademy training course is recognized by the Clinical Research Association of Canada (CRAC) and provides participants with a Certificate of Completion equal to Education Credits of 3.0 contact hours.
