A report on the Economic Times notes that the Hyundai Creta compact SUV will launch in the Indian market, followed by the world premiere on 21 July 2015, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) supposedly enhanced the launch of Creta fully take advantage of festive season that begins with the Onam festival in late August.

The Hyundai ix25 Hyundai Creta is on, which is sold exclusively in the Chinese market.
The launch of the compact SUV has been put forward by 2 months, sources told the publication. HMIL has realigned its production with this regard, and the first units of Creta is from June 20, 2015 to roll out of the Chennai plant.
Furthermore, the publication reported that the Creta will be offered with petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmissions. The motors are to be borrowed from the Verna, and feature a 1.6-liter gasoline VTVT, a 1.6-liter CRDi diesel and even a base 1.4-liter CRDi diesel engine.
Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP, Sales and Marketing for HMIL confirmed the change in strategy for the Creta. Mr Srivastava said that the “move proved” with the Grand i10 (the first was launched in India lives, and pointed in the European specifications at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013), and that the company hopes the same success with the Creta ,
